With the use of a jar band, turn any standard mason jar into a reusable to-go cup! Together with glass, EcoJarz lids mark the highest standard in no-leach drinking vessels. Ships with or without packaging This lid is designed to fit Wide Mouth mason jars – please check your jars to make sure this lid will fit. Your jar should measure 3 inches inside the top, or around 3-3/8 inches from thread to thread. This item will not fit the smaller, regular mouth mason jars, which measure 2-3/4 inches across the rim. Please note that the Jar Band is NOT included. A jar band is necessary to attach an EcoJarz lid. It works just like a canning jar lid. You can use a standard tin jar band that comes with a mason jar. Or, up the ante with our EcoJarz reusable Stainless Steel Jar Band for $7.95 and never worry about rusting bands again! We recommend washing your new Ecojarz lid thoroughly with soap and water before use. If you are using a tin jar band, be sure that after washing and drying it you store it in a dry place to avoid rust. I have long looked for some way to use my jars this way...I saw someone at a farmer's market using one and asked where they got it and they said Ecojarz. I always take my jar with me to get coffee and the regular lids got so sloppy to keep taking on and off - these work wonders and no leaking - great seal.
